Trauma-Informed Supervision
This virtual workshop provides an introduction to Trauma-Informed Supervision for managers, supervisors, HR professionals, and leaders who want to be more trauma-informed in their work. The purpose of this workshop is to provide an overview of trauma-informed principles and values that can be incorporated into supervisory tasks.
Objectives
• Introduce a trauma-informed supervisory framework
• Facilitate learning appropriate for both supervisors/managers and direct care staff in trauma-informed care best practices
• Practice incorporating trauma-informed care into supervisory sessions
• Identify agency/organization opportunities to shift practice or policy to be more trauma-informed
